A Year after a Catastrophic Earthquake

This January 12, 2011, marks the one year anniversary of the worst natural disaster in the Republic of Haiti’s history. According to official reports the quake killed more than 230,000 people, but the exact count is unknown. The quake left thousands of people in the streets of Port-Au-Prince and around the region.  Haiti is still in great needs of international support for recovery.  Thousands of people are without health care assistance, thousands of children are left without their biological parents; and thousands more cannot afford an education. All these issues need the attention of the Haitian government and NGOs worldwide.

As a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Help Us Live is continuing its mission in Haiti by reaching out to those who most in needs with assistance to affordable health clinic, food, shelter, and tuition assistance. In the past months, Help us Live reached out to more than 50 children in the region of Les Cayes, Haiti, with tuition assistance.  As we strive to help people all over the world, it is only possible because of your generous donation. Together we can make a difference in the lives of many people around the world.  Our programs are ongoing; therefore, we need your continuing financial support.
